The latest addition to the Carly Jane household is a beautiful blue and red betta fish. She survived the twelve hour trip to Blanding (whew!) and hopefully will survive a whole lot longer (seeing as there isn't a fish store within a hundred miles of me!).

I am VERY happy to hear that Bella made it all the way back. I was a little worried. I would have to say I love the red bow on the bowl and the cute doulie underneath it. I am glad you now have someone to talk to in your apartment. I hope Bella lasts a long time for you! Welcome to the family Bella!!

Bettas are the best. We have had ours a year and a half now. Which is amazing b/c I'm not super great about cleaning his tank....and we don't feed him when we go on vacation for days at a time. Poor thing. I'm sure yours will get much better care and attention. :)
Yea! The fish made it home!! I was getting a little worried about it on my kitchen counter over-night before you headed home. It looks so pretty in the big fish bowl!
