One Memory...

1. Leave one memory that you and I had together, as a comment on my blog. Anything goes.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll check to see if you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

what a fun post. Don't remember a whole lot but I do remember going to your guys' house on ?Stearn? with my mom. And then I remember when you guys left 3rd ward but can't remember if you moved to HB or Westminster! Sorry, Not too exciting but we were kinda young!

Remember sitting next to each other and singing in the Blanding, Utah Women's conference? I had heard many complimentary things about you in school board and in the community and was glad to be able to put a face to the name. Polite "how do you do's" - who would have guessed the path that life was paving for us!

I have some great memories of our time at Roman Gardens, but the first one that popped into my head was when you started playing with the christmas decorations. Then we all joined in and helped to decorate you like a Christmas Tree. Good times!

Wow. So many. Mostly though I remember planning our double wedding in the playroom during piano lessons at my house. More recently, hanging out in Park City with G&G and caroling this last Christmas. I love our family!

Visiting teaching "the Amazon" beauties. I loved that. We also went and got our hairs cut at Paul Mitchell together late at night.

In primary, when the fishies wouldn't grab onto the magnets! That was so funny, it was such a cute game!

hmmmm, which one should i choose...

well, here is one, even though it wasnt with you, it was for you!

I remember in hs helping jason answer your invitation to a formal dance by purchasing big underwear and writing on them, "I'll be BRIEF. Yes!"

...and then I remember trying to figure out how to hang them in your yard.

That was good times!

What a great post idea. First impressions memory....I met you at the melodrama. Though it wasn't a great place for conversation I watched you from the corner of my eye. I am a people watcher. I still hadn't gotten used to the idea of Jerm getting married, after all he was just a kid when Jason and I were married, and I was struggling with thinking of him as a "grown-up". (No offense to Jerm) ANYWAY, when I watched you and Jeremy together I thought how great you guys looked together. I watched you watching Gavin and laughing at his craziness, and laughing at the play. I thought, she seems like such a genuine, kind, content person.....she's perfect for Jerm and she's perfect for our family! I know it's not much of a memory, but first impressions always stay with you. There will be many great memories to come, I'm sure!

hmmm, I have a lot of memories with you from growing up. Most of them everyday type stuff. I guess I remember how annoying I must have been in seminary with my non-stop big mouth and how you were always so nice to me anyways. :) I also found the other day in a box a letter from you telling me you were sorry if you ever hurt my feelings...I remember being so confused when you gave me that because you are one of the nicest people I know and you don't have a mean bone in your body!

I loved in class that whenever we would get off topic, you would go right along with us! Eventually we would get back on track, but you never got mad about it like some other teachers do. It was also great that you were just as stressed, if not more, about our AP test. It made me want to do really well just for you. And when you brought us snacks for the AP test. That was the best! With the red tablecloth!! That was so cute! I'm going to miss you so much! Sorry, that was way more than just one memory, but I couldn't help myself.

ps. I used up more than my share of 3 exclamation marks in life! :)

My favorite memory is your contagious smile! Lisa, you and I sitting on a bed dreaming about our futures together. Saying good night to you one Saturday and you were still up studying until midnight, trying to get every minute of study time in before Sunday.

Oh man, let's see ... always sitting on grandpa snowball's lap and getting him to sing you sausy little redhead, and when you were older you'd sit by his feet as he sang to you ... playing boogle with you , and more recently scategories at christmas time ... all sleeping together in the family room upstairs one christmas and getting a terrible nights sleep ... sleeping in Paige's room the night before I got married and comforting Paige because she was so upset ... and being so excited for a letter or email to arrive while you were on your mission, especially if one contained a watercolor painting on the front of it. :)

I remember staying at your apartment for a few days before PM training started one year. That was when you lived with Candace. I always felt so weird staying at other peoples' places, but I felt so comfortable and welcome staying with you guys. I really loved it!!

You wrote something on one of my writing logs, where you said something that really inflated my head... You shouldn't have, but I don't mean that. ;)
