four months, 1 week

height: 25 1/2 inches (66%)
weight: 13 lbs 13 oz (22 %)
head circumference: 15 1/2 inches (20%)

Today we went for a walk--despite the fall bluster. Not far. Just to the swings, in fact. Raymond usually likes to swing in my lap for an indefinite amount of time. Today we learned that he loves to swing in the kiddy swing for an indefinite amount of time. His laughter was joyous to behold!

He's turned into a pretty regular sleeper. Bedtime every night is between 6:00 and 7:00pm. Most nights he doesn't wake up until between 2:00 and 4:00am. Then he's up for an hour or so between 5:00 and 6:00 (always back down no later than 8:00am). The rest of the day is filled with naps every two hours. Usually it ends up being about three naps a day for an hour or two each. Whew! (Not that you really wanted to know all this information... I'm just extremely proud of the facts, not going to lie).

He loves to play with his "toys" (wire whisks, measuring spoons, etc.). He can roll back to front and front to back. he loves to read (his favorite books are about animals). He loves, loves, loves music of every sort (particularly singing by his mama). And he loves to eat.

Thanks for the baby update! He is so cute. I love putting my babies in the swing! They are so joyous and you can tell they really delight in the feeling of swinging free. Sounds like he has turned into a pretty great sleeper! Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Love you!

I WANT TO SEE HIM. I am declaring it to the world. Or whoever reads this blog. I WANT TO SEE HIM. That pictures doesn't lookanything like the last time I saw him. Four months? Not fare. Not fair other family has seen him and not me. I am just saying. I WANT TO SEE HIM. (he is so cute!!!) I hate living far away. And yes, I said hate.

Isn't it amazing that the "simple" things make us most happy!

Carly, Sounds to me like he is going to be very much like his namesake... Sleeps alot, laughs alot, loves to tinker with the "tools". I want to see him and hug him! He looks so kissable! Auntie Cindy

I love the picture on the swing. Sleep is so important and I love it when babies finally 'get it' and sleep like they should, you get a lot more smiles from them once they get in the routine. Congrats mommy!

Yeah!! I'm jealous that he laughs...Chloe still has yet to give me a good giggle. Maybe I'm just not that funny. Anyway, I'm so happy Raymond is sleeping well for you, and I hope Jeremy is feeling better. Gavin still thinks he has the "slime" flu and is throwing up slime...it's hard to explain the "swine flu" to a 4 year old.
