Raymond John had his 6 month check up today. I keep trying not to stress out over the fact that his weight is in the
13th percentile (while his height is in the 73rd!). Looks like he's got his papa's genes. I think all the chub of his whole body is concentrated in his cheeks (which makes them oh so kissable). What's a mama to do?

Good for you for not stressing. He's perfectly fine. As long as he's eating then I wouldn't worry about it. Weston was always low low in the percentiles and I stressed and got really irritated when he wouldn't eat as much as I thought he should. Then I had Davin. He hasn't even made it into the 1% since his 9 month check up. He is currently almost 21 months and only weighs 21 pounds with clothes and shoes on. He's my little peanut, but he's healthy and happy and eats, so I don't worry. I bet Raymond will grow up to be tall like his daddy too. Also, those cheeks sure are adorable. A mama is just supposed to kiss them all day and not worry what someone else says he should weigh. :) Love you! You're a great mommy.
PS-I totally vote for the jump straight to minivan. It's so much easier to get them in and out!
he is adorable. and yes those cheeks look like they are irresitable.
He is such a cutie!! No worries about the weight. We all know he eats lots, so no worrying. He is so sweet. I just wish I could hold and kiss those cheeks right now!
He is such a cute baby. When Kellen was five he was so little that the granparents decided to pay for a trip to Childrens Primary Medical center to make sure everything was okay. The Doctor wrote a letter to the Granparents saying this is a normal healthy five year old who just happens to be small. I didn't worry much about it after that.
hahahaa it IS all in his chubs! it's adorable!!!
I love the cheeks. Chloe has them too and you're right they are so fun to kiss! Can't wait to see you guys!
Hi. My name is Tamara Anderson. I went to school with Jeremy. I mostly lurk on blogs of people that I recognize. I love seeing the families and blogs of old school mates. I usually don't comment, but your little boy is so cute, that I have to say congratulations on the half birthday. You have a really cute blog.
He's happy and healthy. Percentages and charts cannot capture that. Just enjoy him and follow your mommy instincts to give him what he needs!
His cheeks are so cute and chubby I would never think him skinny. As long as he is healthy and continually growing there is nothing to worry about. Have a very merry Christmas!
What a cute kid. Hope all is well wherever you are! Have a great New Year. =)
