I was determined

Determined, I tell you, to have everything done for Christmas before Ginny Bug arrived.

I was unsuccessful.

So while my lack of posts is also due to the fact that our little lives have taken a whirl with a newborn in the house, it's mostly due to the fact that every time I have a moment to myself I'm trying to finish Christmas things. Or I'm taking a nap. Or I'm watching a movie with Jeremy. Or doing the laundry and the dishes.

All of which has taken a much higher precedence than just about anything else. Even taking pictures of Miss Virginia. (Have I mentioned that picture taking is just not my forte? Yeah.)

But the good news is, I'm just about done with Christmas. And what isn't done has mostly been crossed of the To Do list (because, man, I'm tired).I just have a few more things to wrap and a hope to make one little thing for Raymond. But, you know, if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. I can always make it after Christmas (heaven forbid!), and he probably won't even know.

And the other good news is that Ginny is a perfect little baby. A few days ago I started (but didn't finish) a whole post about how good she is. At eating. At sleeping (ok, well better at this than Raymond anyway). At looking good in pink. At puckering those rose bud lips for mama kisses. She's an angel.

And someday someone who's better at taking pictures than I am will help me get more shots of her chubby-cheeked sweetness for all of you to melt over.

In the meantime, Merry Christmas!!

Me me me .... I cannot wait to snap 100's (literally) of pictures of her. And hold her and cuddle her. I swear I am going to be mean about time with her. I am praying and praying I (and all of us) will not have any sick germs because I desperately want to hold and cuddle and love her.

Go you on getting your Christmas things done. Completely impressed. I am just down to Ginny's. I started it today. Well, I laid it out a couple of days ago and sat and staired at it and moved it around and tried to figure out how I wanted to make it work...but today I actually started sewing it. Happiness to that. I seriously hope you like it. I do...but I don't know if you will. Either way though I just love sitting and making her something. Makes me happy. I got to spend the last few weeks making things for my neices and nephews. Lucky me. I love being an aunt. Hands down. I cannot wait to see you. I miss you. And your cute family.

Good job getting Christmas done! I went out and did some last minute shopping today. The rest is going to have to be bought at Walmart when I grocery shop on Wednesday or not at all. I have a few things to wrap, but mostly I'm at the point of if it's not done it's not happening.

I'm so glad to hear that Ginny is such a great baby. Sounds like we both got lucky with sweet baby girls. :) Hope you guys have a wonderful week and a safe trip to CA!
