I miss you so. Your blossoms. Your sunshine. You wonderful, beautiful, warmer weather. Please come quickly. I might go crazy if you don't. We (the kids and I anyway) haven't left the house for more than Wal-Mart and church in over a week. We are--literally--bouncing off the walls. The couches. The beds. And it's been like this for weeks and weeks.
We just want to go outside, you know. A little trip to the park would be nice. A walk round the block without scarves and mittens.
A decreased fear of getting yet another head cold would also be nice. We are on round three and a bit tired of coughing and sneezing.
Pretty, pretty, please (with a cherry on top!) come soon. I promise to enjoy your beauty and bounty with my whole heart.
Your faithful friend,
Carly

Have you tried public library storytimes? Best thing since sliced bread! We have several in our area that we try to attend. Oh, and out here Barnes and Noble has storytime, too. Check the ones near you to see if they have them.
I guess I won't tell you that the ground hog saw his shadow and there will be 6 more weeks of winter! I love spring too!
To bad you cant take a trip to So Cal. :) My favorite time to visit my family in Texas is during a Midwest winter. The library is a good idea. In my ward we have play group at the church gym and we bring trikes for the kids to ride.
The kids love going when they can't play outside during the winter. Maybe you could get one going in your ward.
Oh, how I wish I could send warm weather your way... Love you!
