Dang, if I had known how much I would love my life as Mrs. Christiansen, I just might have eloped! No, I completely take that back. I LOVED getting married, wearing the big white dress, taking pictures, having a beautifully and perfectly arrayed reception, and going on a honeymoon. Good things come to those who wait. Speaking of honeymoons, I recommend them. Highly. It was so so nice to step out of reality for a few days and spend all day every day together. I will be forever grateful we were able to go on a honeymoon, and I would recommend a cruise! I have been trying ALL week long to get internet long enough on my laptop to post all my fabulous pictures (curtesy of Jeremy, the photographer of the family) and tell you about all of our fun adventures... but alas to no avail. In fact, right now I am on Jeremy's computer because mine can't get internet and the pictures are all on mine. Grrr. I don't know what's wrong. Anyhow, pictures and stories and recommendations for your future cruising adventures are forthcoming. In the meantime, I just wanted you to know we are alive and well in our little Cedar City apartment. Life has swung back into action with school and work and laundry to do (and no gourmet chef in the kitchen, just little ole me and a stack of cookbooks...).
We are, however, on our way out of town again today for our reception/open house number two in Blanding. I am SO EXCITED to go home to Blanding for the weekend. I am so excited to see my students and ward members and family and friends that I have missed so much since driving away in a big U-haul a month and a half ago. I know Debbie, Jeremy's mom, has a beautiful open house planned that includes dozens of her unbeatable homemade pies. If you are reading my blog and you live anywhere near Blanding (or better yet are one of my favorite Blandingites lurking in the courners of my blog...) I had better see you there! Tomorrow night (Saturday the 20th) at the arts and events center, from 7-9. I've missed you.
ps. for those wanting to see more wedding pictures, check out my sister's blog post. She goes through the full details with commentary :). Thanks Tasha!

Carly I just LOVE YOU!! I'm soo glad that everything was wonderful! You deserve it! Love you!
Isn't marriage so wonderful! I'm glad you're having so much fun as Mrs. Christiansen. Even though the wedding day is so busy and full...it is so much fun to be surrounded by so many people that you love and that love you on your wedding day. I wish I could come to your reception in Blanding, but I'm a little too far away. Have fun at your second reception!
hmmm, how far of a drive is it from az to blanding. and can i make it back in time for ethans football game? i would love to be there!
Glad you had a great time on your cruise! I can't wait to hear all about it. Have so much fun at your Blanding open house tonight! I am excited to hear about that too. Congrats again you two lovebirds!
I'm so glad you guys had a great time. I'm excited to see your pictures. I only have two pictures from our honeymoon. I don't know why I didn't take more. I feel bad I'm missing another event in your wedding...we really do love you guys!! We'll see you next weekend!
Good luck on your little adventure to Blanding. I hope you get to see lots and lots of those Blandingites that you love so very much!!! And hopefully you get some pictures to share with me!
PS And while you were having fun in Blanding just know I had one NO FUN morning with my boys. It consisted of a grumpy mom, Brayden who was not very happy, Tanner's soccer game(probably the best part) and then getting locked out of my car with both boys still inside buckeled in their seat belts with Brian at the temple so I could not call him. Yep, sounds fun huh?
So fun! I'm glad you had a great time. I've got to get your address from your mom so I can mail you your wedding gift since we missed your reception. Love you!
Hi Janegirl! Hope you had fun at your reception last night! I was thinking about you lots during it. Hopefully lots of your friends/students came and you had loads of fun!
Yeah Carly! I am so happy for you!! Also, random question--I totally was thinking about Jodi Frodsham the other day and noticed that she came to your wedding! Do you have an email address or something of hers? I would love to say hi.
So happy you're enjoying the new live-in man. You look so happy in your pictures!
Yeah for a happy honeymoon!! I still think mine ranks as my number one most favorite vacation of all time. It was the most carefree, fun time I've ever had. We did whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted and whatever we did, we did it together. So glad you guys are doing well!!
I LOVED all the pictures your sister posted! I am so glad everything has been such the fairy tale for you and your new hubby!! You looked beautiful!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE start blogging again. Pictures or no pictures. I miss just hearing the small things that are going on in your life every day. It is depressing to come on here and see the same post over and over again. I MISS YOU!!!
