Sugar and spice and everything nice... including pleats

Gosh don't you love it? I made this little jumper yesterday, and really I want to dollop some whipped cream on top and eat it up.  I love how simple it is. Somehow feminine without a ruffle or bow.

I have jumped back into sewing full swing again. Today I made a few bibs. More booties are on the agenda. And some bigger sized dresses (so far I've made three 0-3 month). Maybe a daygown or two (like these... I tell you I wake up in the early morning hours thinking about making these). I still want to make a new carseat cover, but I'm scared.

We'll see what a little fabric, inspiration, and hard work can do!

Everything you do turns out fabulous. Love the little jumper. Very cute. Can't wait to see it on your red headed baby girl with tights and mary janes. She'll be a vision. :)

Good luck with the car seat cover. It looks like a really cool project!

Oh Carly. It.is.beautiful. Oh, I am just in love. Is it another one you just created? Darling, darling, darling. I just adore the pleates. And the fabric. The whole thing. I am so glad you got all that fabric. Look at the amazing things you are able to do with it. I love that you are back into full swing. I have a little favor to ask...can you save me just a couple squares from these fabrics you are using. I want to add them into her quilt I am making her. They don't have to be large squares. Well, I guess I should email you about it. But, I am oh so loving this jumper. Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting a picture of it. You make me happy sister.

Your little dress turned out so cute! I saw the back of your head at the RS dinner tonight and meant to make it over to say hi, but I had Bracken with me and got distracted as he was trying to dump the water in my food and poke at a sleeping baby. :) But I hope you're doing well.

You can and SHOULD sell some! I'd totally buy them because I can't sew and don't desire to learn. I prefer baking. ;) So gorgeous!!

Adorable! Is it reversable, or lined with the cute polka dot fabric?
