This is a serious addiction

Oranges. Sweet and juicy and just right. I eat them by the pairs. Two with my whole wheat toast. Two after school. Another two before bed, if I'm hungry. I just can't help myself, they are so good. Oranges, oranges, and more oranges! I even have branched out to orange slice candy, orange sherbet, and today I bought some orange flavored crackers (and two more bags of oranges--one only lasts a few days). What is a girl to do? They drip juicy hints that summer is coming...

Yummy! Right now I'm hooked on apples. The really yummy ones from Costco. I'm feeling pretty good about this pregnancy craving.

I love the smell of oranges and the flavor and even the look of them covering a tree, but I have to say that I don't love to eat them like you do. Sad, I know. But I'm glad you are addicted to them. It's a good thing to be hooked onto.

That was the cutest post! I check in with you every so often and I love the way you write! Oranges are a favorite at our house too. I bought my husband a orange tree for his birthday, and if we're lucky we should have our own oranges in a few seasons. We can't wait for fresh orange juice! Do you think we could ship that to you? :)

But red is still your favorite color, right. . not orange?? I was worried ;-)

You make me laugh!! I am glad you love oranges so much. I knew you were having an addiction this year, but I did not realize you ate this many. They are definatly a good addiction though. I am sure Grandma Torgerson wishes you lived closer so she could give you free oranges all the time. Keep eating those oranges and hopefully they really will bring you a nice happy spring!

Oh, don't worry, Aunt Betsy. Red will always be my favorite color! (I love red fruit too... strawberries and watermelon... mmm!) But I sure do eat a lot of oranges.

I love oranges, too. Yum! We actually picked up an electric citrus juicer several years ago, and sometimes in the evenings hubs and I will juice a whole bag. So delicious, especially when the oranges have been chilling for a while. Our juicer, by the way, was only something like $15 at Target. More than worth the purchase.

Okay, I know this goes with the other post, but I was afraid you wouldn't see it.

A friend was watching my girls for me and I used the opportunity to go to Costco. As I was walking around the store, I realized that I talk to myself a lot more than I realize. The difference is that people don't look at you like you're crazy when there are two kids in the cart with you.

So here's the thing, I probably still talk to myself just as often as I ever did, but it just doesn't LOOK like I'm talking to myself because I'm NEVER by myself!! LOL

My fruit of choice currently are strawberries. Mmmmmm. They do make it feel like summer.
