Lost in the sewing room

I'm sorry my posts have been so few and far between! I am still alive... just seem to have been swallowed up in my sewing room. All sorts of projecting has been happening of late. Perhaps I will post pictures someday soon!

In the meantime, we had another great weekend with family for Miss Maggie's blessing. This time in Vegas. We also spent lots of time with Jon and Summer and their cute kids. Can I tell you how much I love five year olds playing tee-ball? I don't think I can. I can't wait to see them again this weekend!

The happy news in the Christiansen house these days is that we were approved for scholarship housing... which will make a huge finacial burden get much lighter starting May 16th! I'm not terribly excited to move three weeks before my due date... but it's better than three days, that's for sure. And it means we'll be able to be more settled once the wee one comes. Hooray for new adventures!

Sounds like you have been a busy girl! Glad you had a fun trip to Vegas for Maggie's blessing. Congrats on the housing approval. That is very exciting. Moving while 8 months pregnant is not as fun. We moved one month before Weston was born and it was a long, exhausting weekend, but we were mostly ready for him by the time he arrived. Just make sure you ask for lots of help. :) Good luck with everything!
PS- I would love some pictures of your projecting.

Always nice to save a little money. We moved into a two bedroom aparment a month before my due date. Unfortunately for Jason he had to do most all the work. I guess that's one advantage of being big and prego right?

Oh carly, don't you know it's GREAT to move when you are very pregnant or just had a baby? You don't have to do ANYTHING!! Everyone who shows up to help you (I HOPE You have people helping you) will say, "don't lift that carly, you're pregnant!" and "Oh carly, sit down and rest, let ME do that!" It's the best. Only way to move. :) Love you carly, good luck! Can't wait to see that sweet baby.

Congrats on scholarship housing!! Sad I learned it here. . . too bad we need to talk soon!! :) That seriously is so exciting. And soon. Maybe we will be moving the same weekend. I am glad it means you will be settled when the baby does come. Have fun with all of Jeremy's family this weekend with the shower and conference. I will be thinking about you.

Congrats on the scholarship housing. Will it be a smaller or big apartment? It is better to move before the baby is born than after. I can't wait to see pics of your projects and the new apartment.

Post pictures soon of all your sewing! And good luck with the move! MOving anytime at all stinks, I cant imagine being all pregnant. On the brightside, you wont have to lift a finger! (Or it could put you in labor early, which may not be a bad thing!)
